About Evelyn Tambour
Growing up in the center of beautiful Vienna in Austria, Evelyn loved to sit in the cozy backyard of her family's romantic old residence, full of gratitude for the warm sunshine and the birds singing in the trees. Talents in several art forms were competing from early childhood on, and finally the visual arts 'made it': Evelyn's images have been exhibited on numerous occasions and can be found in private and public collections around the world. For many years she was also teaching art photography to architecture students at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Until today, sharing the beauty of light and her love for the sentient beings in all realms has remained the driving force behind her work. please click on the...

Us Aussies are proud of all the crazy (and often very dangerous) creatures that we have in Australia. These little fellas (or sheilas) have adapted extremely well to their surroundings, haven't they.
Evelyn Tambour replied:
thank you, dear sean! only now i realize that you're an aussie!! (aha... i did not read your 'about' section ;-) and yes, you're so right: their adaptation is truly masterful! all the best to you

I had to look this one up myself: The thorny devil or thorny dragon is an Australian lizard, also known as the mountain devil, the thorny lizard, or the moloch. This is the sole species of genus Moloch. The thorny dragon grows up to 20 cm in length, and can live for 15 to 20 years. ~Wikipedia
Evelyn Tambour replied:
dear jeff, your research and comment are greatly appreciated! thank you very much! :))
