Description
this utterly pristine landscape in the austrian alps is a place of spiritual significance. the mountain with two peaks is named bischofsmuetze (which translates to bishop's mitre) and has a very high energy. the whole 'dachstein' mountain massif is a charismatic area with peaks up to just under 3,000 m (or close to 10,000 ft).
starting in filzmoos (village on the salzburg side of the dachstein massiv), in a 2-day hike via the idyllic alpine pastures seen on this image and continuing over ‘gosaukamm’, gosausee (lake gosau) can be reached which lies on the other side of 'hoher dachstein' (high dachstein), featuring in the image 'pristine' in my gallery.
