Description
few weeks ago, a young feline being meowed and purred its way into our hearts. its cuteness being simply irresistible, we eventually allowed it to turn our life pretty much upside down. all the small objects scattered around the house had to be put away in boxes, and the sand in my little zen garden now shows a very different kind of pattern. after some initial protests from our side ‘the cream-colored sofa’ became kind of ‘the cat’s sofa’ and even has to put up with occasionally being abused for sharpening little kitty’s claws (for some unknown reason it seems preferable to the proper scratch posts and boards, which will hopefully change sooner or later).
today i managed the first time in a while to sit down at the computer for more than 10 minutes. lately my usual screen time had to give way to play time – and that to 100 %; because if the furry sweetheart wasn’t tired enough, quiet nights would have been a thing of the past. of course all this is more than familiar to anyone who ever shared their house with cats; and yes, the love and joy they bring creates that warm and fuzzy feeling…
